Are You SCOUTStrong?
Start Training for the 2nd annual SCOUTStrong Challenge Half Marathon and 5K. This event will begin at Sporting Park and will finish on the track of the Kansas Speedway at the track's finish line. The post race party and awards will take place on the infield of the Kansas Speedway.
With a challenging, yet scenic and fun course, you will get to run through some of the greatest and most state of the art venues Kansas City has to offer. The course will take you
around the track of the Kansas Speedway on Daytona Drive, through beautiful Wyandotte County Park, past the Agricultural Hall of Fame, the Renaissance Festival, through the Legends entertainment district, and will finish
on the Kansas Speedway track.
The Half Marathon is a perfect challenge for those that have been training over the Winter and Spring, want to run off the Winter cold, or for those training for a full Marathon.
The 5K is a great distance for any runner, and because of the course, will offer a unique running experience. Sprint into Summer with this great race!
The 2014 SCOUTStrong Challenge will offer all the benefits runners expect, and will become an addition to the best races Kansas City has to offer.
